2. Account registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are limited to one account per person
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent activity
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others

4. Household sharing

Remindwise allows you to create and share a household with other users. When you invite members to your household:

• All household members can view and manage shared records
• You are responsible for only inviting people you trust
• We are not liable for actions taken by household members you have invited
• You may remove household members at any time

5. AI features

Remindwise includes AI-powered features that use third-party AI services (currently OpenAI). By using these features:

• You acknowledge that AI responses are generated and not guaranteed to be accurate
• AI features are provided as-is and do not constitute professional, legal, financial, or medical advice
• You should not rely solely on AI-generated information for important decisions
• Your data may be sent to OpenAI for processing — see our Privacy Policy for details

6. Documents and content

• You retain ownership of all content you upload to Remindwise
• By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service to you
• We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for purposes other than operating the Service
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content you submit

7. Reminders and notifications

Remindwise provides reminder and notification features to help you manage household events and deadlines. However:

• Reminders are sent on a best-effort basis
• We do not guarantee delivery of any specific reminder or notification
• We are not liable for any consequences of missed, delayed, or undelivered reminders
• You remain responsible for managing your own deadlines and obligations

8. Availability

We strive to keep Remindwise available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned downtime in advance.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from missed reminders, data loss, or service interruptions, beyond reasonable measures
• Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim

10. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately
• We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
